Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Wellness Series: Suicide Awareness

Georgia Department of Education is providing a free, statewide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all full-time public-school teachers (including Pre-K teachers) and staff through a partnership with Kepro. Join us for our monthly webinar series on topics related to employee wellness and support.

As educators and servant leaders, we often have a hard time prioritizing our own wellbeing. Mental health is not only a challenge faced by students, but also by colleagues and family members. The following EAP sessions are offered in November:

Session 1, November 29: Talking About the “S” Word
This session helps participants demystify challenging topics such as suicide and self-harm and understand ways to tackle taboos and aid someone in distress.

Session 2, November 30: Staying optimistic – Conquering Negative Thoughts
This session helps participants learn how to gain control over negative thoughts, turn them into neutral or positive ones, and conquer unhealthy habits.

Please register for each session separately.
