English Language Arts (ELA) Standards Launch Tour
January 9 - January 19

Duration: 6 hours 30 minutes
Intended Audience: District Leaders, RESA Mentors
Are you curious about the new Georgia’s K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) Standards? District leaders and RESAs are invited to join us at one of our seven events across the state as part of the ELA Standards Launch Tour. The same information will be shared at each event. The morning session will provide an overview of the structural and conceptual shifts in the newly adopted standards (slated for full implementation with updated assessments in 2025-26). Districts are encouraged to send two leaders so they are able to attend both the K-5 and 6-12 afternoon literacy sessions. Participants will walk away with an understanding of the new ELA standards and available resources so their districts may begin the training process.
Space is limited at each event site, so register early to ensure availability! Additional information will be sent to attendees prior to the event.
