MTSS Essential Component: Screening

Intended Audience: District Leaders, GaDOE Staff ALL, Instructional Coaches/Coordinators, MTSS Team, PBIS Teams, RESA Mentors, School Leaders, Special Education Teachers, State Schools, Teacher Leaders
The purpose of Screening, an essential component of Georgia’s MTSS, is to identify students who need enrichment/acceleration or who are at risk for poor learning and/or behavior outcomes and provide an indicator of system effectiveness. Participants will select and evaluate screening tools, analyze screening data, and develop or refine their school or district screening implementation plan.
