Self-Determined Career Design Model (SDCDM) Training for CTI Coordinators

Intended Audience: CTAE CTI Coordinators

A major tenant of the CTI program is to support student transition and to provide appropriate transition services that will result in achievement of student career goals. CTI students often need support in determining career directions. The SDCDM is a transition tool that can be used to enable students to set career-related goals, to make career-related choices and decisions, to develop plans and implement to reach career goals, and to self-reflect on progress toward career-related goals. The SDCDM has been adopted by the Division of Special Education, Ga Dept. of Education as part of its transition initiative. CTI Coordinators will be trained on proper administration of the SDCDM and appropriate utilization of results.
