2026-27 ESOL Program Leaders' Munch & Learn Webinar Series
August 12 - May 5

Description:
Intentional Leadership in Action: Collaboration, Consistency, and Classroom Impact is a focused webinar series designed to strengthen ESOL programs through intentional, collaborative leadership.
The series opens with a recorded July session on EL entrance procedures to support accurate identification. Once available, you can access it two ways: (1) by searching Recorded Webinars and topic “EL” or “ESOL” in catalog view or (2) by locating the link in the Additional Resources section below. Access to this recording will be available mid-July.
August and September emphasize collaboration in implementing the ESOL State Board Rule and maintaining accurate EL and ESOL data reporting. Fall sessions highlight consistent instructional practices, including alignment to Georgia’s new ELA/ELD standards and support for English learners in science. The January session centers on collaborative decision-making for English learners with disabilities, reinforcing shared responsibility across teams. Winter sessions explore strategic use of technology and how LEAs build strong programs through intentional planning and resource use. The series concludes with LEA spotlights that demonstrate how intentional leadership sustains classroom impact and EL exit procedures.
Each webinar features a 30-minute Q & A session, and participants may submit questions in advance using the hyperlink in the Additional Resources below, or by accessing the Q & A document in the GaDOE Inspire ESOL Resource Repository – Professional Learning Resources Collection.
