Academy of New Federal Program Leaders, Session 1

Intended Audience: District Leaders, Finance Staff, School Leaders

New Federal Programs leaders are encouraged to attend this year-long series of monthly informational sessions designed to support new leaders in navigating program requirements, guidance, and deadlines. Each session is designed to offer four timely topics. Participants can join the sessions most relevant to their work. Session 1 will provide information on the following topics:

1. Title IV, Part A Student Support and Academic Enrichment: Closing of Budget/Populating Reportable Data (10:00-10:30 a.m.)

2. Title I, Part A Family and School Partnership: Parent Notification of EL Student Participation in Federally Funded (TI-A, TIII-A) LIEP (10:35-11:05 a.m.)

3. Title I, Part A Family and School Partnership: LEA Technical Assistance to Schools on Family Engagement Compliance (11:10-11:40a.m.)

4. Title III, Part A Language Instruction for English Learners and Immigrant Student: Reconciling Title IIIA FY 22 EL & IMM Expenditures to Approved Budgets and FY 23 Title III EL Budget Tips (11:45-12:15 p.m.)
