Addressing Unique Students with Disabilities (SWD) Preschool Reporting Issues
Reporting preschool students with special needs in state data collections can be challenging. This presentation addresses the unique issues involved with reporting preschoolers with special needs, such as when to report enrollment, when and how to gain a GTID, and what to report in FTE, Student Class, Student Record, Timelines Reporting, and Preschool Outcomes Reporting. Specific examples guide you to understand these reporting elements and how to apply them to the preschool students served through special education in your LEA. In addition, the presentation also discusses using the reported data to improve special education preschool programs at the LEA.
