AP English Literature Back-to-School

Recorded Webinar

Duration: 45 minutes

Intended Audience: Gifted and Talented Teachers, High School Teachers

This session is suitable for both new and experienced AP Literature and Composition teachers. In this session, we discuss planning for a new school year of AP Lit, including analyzing the Instructional Report from the previous school year, summer reading dos and don’ts, planning the first ten days of class, and using tools of voice (detail, diction, imagery, syntax, tone) to frame the year’s instruction. Andrea Lakly from Fayette County and Eric Rovie from Gwinnett County, both experienced AP Lit teachers and AP Lit Readers, offer strategies to help get the school year started off successfully.
