Join Dr. Alisa Leckie as she explores techniques for assessing newcomer English learners at the middle and high school levels. Alisa leads GaDOE’s 6-12 Teachers of English Learners ELA Virtual Learning Community. She is the Assistant Dean of Partnerships and Outreach at Georgia Southern University and Associate Professor in Middle Grades and Secondary Education.
