This recorded September 8, 2026, session of the Back-to-School ELA Leadership Update, hosted by the Georgia Department of Education’s ELA Team, is a repeat of a session originally presented at the Fall 2026 Metro RESA Virtual Teaching & Learning Summit. As Georgia enters its second year of implementing the K–12 ELA Standards, school and district leaders will explore key updates, instructional guidance, and resources to support coherent implementation across classrooms and schools. The session highlights practical considerations and opportunities for leaders to strengthen instructional practices and sustain momentum throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
