This collaborative session between GaDOE and the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) highlights key best practices to help schools create safe, responsive learning environments from day one. Topics include Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management, the role of Student Advocacy Specialists, and important updates on FY27 grant funding. Participants leave with resources and information to support safety efforts throughout the year.
