Description:

Start the school year with a strong foundation for safety and student support. This collaborative session between GaDOE and GEMA will highlight key best practices to help schools create safe, responsive learning environments from day one. Topics will include Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management, the role of Student Advocacy Specialists, and important updates on FY27 grant funding. Participants will leave with resources and information to support safety efforts throughout the year.
