Classroom Setup for Dance

This workshop will guide dance educators through effective classroom setup to support instruction, creativity, and student engagement. Participants will explore strategies for facilitation, differentiation, and organizing the physical space to meet the needs of diverse learners in a dance classroom setting. Participants will focus on planning and preparing for dance productions, including structuring rehearsals, managing classroom workflow, and aligning performance goals with instructional outcomes. Practical approaches to integrating production planning into daily instruction will be emphasized. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to design a functional and adaptable dance classroom environment and develop a clear plan for facilitating instruction and preparing student performances.
