Coming into a Seasoned Dance Program

New dance teachers often have the task of starting a new dance program or continuing with an existing dance program. This video looks at how to meet the challenges associated with coming into or adopting a preexisting dance program at your new school. When taking on a seasoned dance program it is crucial to assess the program by looking at the classes on your schedule, your background and training related to those courses, and the recourses you need to be successful. This video explores assessing the program, how to meet with students and existing/former teachers and admin, and setting goals for the program.
