Let’s focus on the importance of involving school stakeholders and community partners in the local wellness policy process. Not only is this type of involvement a requirement of the policy, but it is best practice and an essential component of a whole-child-centered policy. Participants take away strategies and suggestions for engaging key stakeholders in the wellness policy process, such as students, families, and community organizations.
