Turning Tension into Togetherness: Compassionate Approaches to Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation
Participants will learn essential conflict resolution skills; how to define and recognize conflict and its emotional aspects; implement Nonviolent Communication (NVC) techniques for compassionate dialogue; and utilize effective de-escalation strategies. Through role-playing activities, practicing these techniques in real-time scenarios builds confidence. Finally, participants will create a personal commitment plan to integrate these skills into their daily interactions, fostering a more harmonious approach to conflict. This course is provided by The Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire.
