The Computer Science for Georgia Implementation Workshop assists district teams in tackling obstacles and finding effective approaches to introduce Computer Science as a new discipline from kindergarten to 12th grade. Your team will acquire valuable strategies to enhance the expertise of Computer Science teachers and develop a practical blueprint for integrating Computer Science into your schools. This plan will be tailored to align with state standards and legislation, ensuring a cohesive implementation process.
To foster sustainability and provide valuable support, emerging districts will be matched with experienced mentors who will guide them through the process of creating a robust and enduring action plan. By leveraging the knowledge and experience of their mentors, emerging districts can establish a solid foundation for implementing Computer Science education successfully.
