Schools participating in the National School Lunch Program and/or School Breakfast Program must make free and reduced priced school meals available to eligible children. This helps increase access to healthy meals, which supports student health and academic performance. At the end of this training, learners will be able to identify the information necessary to process an income application and describe the process for notifying and providing benefits to households. This training is beneficial for School Nutrition Directors, Coordinators, Managers/Supervisors, and Free and Reduced Specialists. Professional learning code(s): 3110
