Participants are encouraged to use the ELA Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours Questions and Ideas Form to submit questions in advance to help guide the discussion and ensure timely, relevant responses, as well as to share ideas of what has worked well in the local context. We also encourage participants to bring or submit samples of what they are creating in the districts to share.
ELA Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours
August 17 - June 14

Description:
Join us for monthly English Language Arts Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours, designed to support district and school leaders as they continue implementing Georgia’s K–12 English Language Arts Standards and updated ELA graduation requirements beginning with the 2025–26 school year.
We will meet monthly on Mondays from 12-1 p.m., so participants are welcome to bring lunch and join us. Each session will begin with a focused update or explanation of a key topic related to the new guidance, such as local course sequencing, secondary ELA pathways, graduation requirements, and implementation considerations. The remainder of the hour will be dedicated to open Q&A, providing participants with opportunities to ask questions, seek clarification, and share feedback, reflections, and examples of local implementation practices.
ELA Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours session topics will be determined by district and school needs. Because these are open office hour sessions, participants are encouraged to join as their schedules allow.
