Participants are encouraged to use the ELA Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours Questions and Ideas Form to submit questions in advance to help guide the discussion and ensure timely, relevant responses, as well as to share ideas of what has worked well in the local context. We also encourage participants to bring or submit samples of what they are creating in the districts to share.
ELA Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours
April 13 - June 8

Description:
Join us for monthly English Language Arts Graduation Guidance Open Office Hours designed to support district and school leaders as we prepare for the implementation of Georgia’s new K-12 English Language Arts Standards and the updated ELA graduation requirements, beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
We will meet on Mondays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., so feel free to bring your lunch. Each session will begin with a 20-minute focused update or explanation of a key topic related to the new guidance, such as local course sequencing, secondary ELA pathways, etc. The remainder of the hour will be dedicated to open Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions, seek clarification, and share feedback and examples of what districts are doing. Since these are open sessions, feel free to drop in as it best meets your schedule.
