Federal Programs Conference: Teachers and Leaders Improving Outcomes for Georgia’s Students
Join the offices of Federal Programs, School and District Improvement, Teaching and Learning, Whole Child Supports, Financial Review, Assessment & Accountability, Technology Services, and Rural Education and Innovation for the Georgia Department of Education’s collaborative summer conference.
Teachers, school leaders, and district personnel will engage in interactive sessions that provide resources, strategies, and best practices to improve outcomes for Georgia’s students. In addition, participants will receive information to assist with plans for coordinating federal funds in FY25, supporting federally-identified schools, and leading strong instructional practices in the 2024-25 school year. Local Educational Agency (LEA) participants should include representatives working with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) grants, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grants, and selected school and district-level instructional personnel.
This conference will be an in-person event with a modified virtual option. LEA staff not able to join in-person will be able to watch a live stream of the general sessions only on the morning of each conference day. All concurrent workshop recordings will be available in GaDOE’s PL Catalog after the conference.
