From Questions to Clarity: Science Office Hours
August 18 - April 20

Description:
Science Office Hours provide an open, supportive space for educators and leaders to connect with the GaDOE Science Team and gain clarity on science instruction, standards, resources, and assessment. These sessions respond directly to educator needs by addressing real questions from the field and supporting accurate, consistent understanding of science teaching and learning.
Participants may submit questions in advance through the registration form or ask questions live during the session, allowing for both planned discussion and real-time conversation. Office hours occur on the third Tuesday of each month from August through April, providing ongoing opportunities for engagement and support throughout the school year.
To ensure focused assessment support, one session each quarter is dedicated specifically to Georgia Milestones and science assessment-related questions. Whether attending to ask a question or to listen and learn, educators are encouraged to join these sessions to move from uncertainty to clarity in science instruction.
