The Georgia Department of Education IDEA Budget and Grants Unit invites special education directors, finance staff, grant coordinators, and other IDEA fiscal personnel to participate in the FY27 IDEA Budget & Grants Fiscal Open Office Hours series.
Each session provides timely guidance on key IDEA fiscal topics throughout the grant cycle, including budgeting, equitable services, monitoring, maintenance of effort (MOE), excess cost, and High Cost Fund requirements. Sessions include topic-specific presentations, updates on current grant activities, and dedicated time for participant questions.
Whether you are new to IDEA fiscal administration or an experienced grant manager, these sessions are designed to provide practical guidance, clarify federal and state requirements, and support successful grant implementation throughout the year.
