Description:
Join the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) for an intensive, interactive training designed for Special Education and Finance Directors. This collaborative session will provide essential guidance, tools, and updates to help you navigate IDEA fiscal, data, and financial requirements efficiently. Topics include Maintenance of Effort (MOE), Equitable Services, Allowability, FTE, Student Class, Student Record, and Funding. Gain the knowledge you need to support effective operations and compliance for students with disabilities.
This will be a two-day, in person meeting from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day. Sessions are repeated.
Session 1: This will be a two-day, in person meeting held September 1 & 2 at Lanier College Career Academy (The Oaks Building), 2719 Tumbling Creek Rd., Gainesville, GA 30504 (Hall County)
Session 2: This will be a two-day, in person meeting (repeat of Session 1) held September 9 & 10 at National Hills Learning Center (Formerly – National Hills Elementary School), 1215 Northwood Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30909 (Richmond County)
Session 3: This will be a two-day, in person meeting (repeat of Session 1) held September 21 & 22 at Southern Regional Tech, 800 N Veterans Pkwy, Moultrie, GA 31788 (Colquitt County)
