FY27 Special Education School Administrators Academy (SESAA)

Description:

The Special Education School Administrators Academy (SESAA) is a mentorship and professional learning program designed to prepare building-level administrators to lead special education effectively in their schools. Participants gain essential knowledge of special education law, practical strategies to support special education teachers, and instructional practices that foster high-quality learning environments for students receiving special education services.

The vision of SESAA is to develop building-level administrators who confidently lead legally sound, high-quality special education programs by supporting teachers through targeted professional learning, thoughtful scheduling, and strong instructional leadership.
