The GaDOE Leadership Development Learning Series is designed to support the professional growth of aspiring and current school and district leaders through practical, research-based learning experiences. Participants will strengthen their leadership knowledge, reflect on current practices, and develop action steps they can immediately apply within their schools and districts.
The series is organized around four essential leadership domains: Strategic Leadership, including vision, planning, and continuous improvement; Organizational Leadership, focusing on effective systems, operations, and resource management; Leading for a Positive Culture, emphasizing relationships, communication, collaboration, and trust; and Leading for Learning, centered on instructional leadership, educator growth, and improved outcomes for all students.

Session 1: Leadership Competencies September 16, 2026 (Virtual)
Session 2: Strategic Leadership October 28, 2026 (In-Person)
Session 3: Operational Leadership November 17, 2026 (In-Person)
Session 4: Leading for Positive Culture January 12, 2027 (In-Person)
Session 5: Leading for Learning February 9, 2027 (In-Person)
Session 6: Professionalism/Ethics TBA (Virtual)
Although each session is designed to stand alone and may be completed independently, participants are encouraged to attend all four in-person sessions to gain the greatest benefit from the full learning series.
