GaMTSS Advanced Tiers: District Leadership Guiding School Implementation
March 25

Description:
The Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS) is a comprehensive framework designed to ensure all students receive high-quality instruction and support. Once a robust Tier 1 foundation is established, districts are ready to build the essential infrastructure to support Advanced Tiers (Tiers 2 and 3) within schools. Like Tier 1, Advanced Tiers should be aligned with the district’s vision, mission, and improvement goals. This GaMTSS Advanced Tiers Series is intended for districts in their second or third year of implementation. Districts are encouraged to participate after completing the GaMTSS Foundational Series: Building Success in Year One (You can access this series in the Resources section below.)
The series has five sessions designed for District Leadership Teams (DLTs) and, specifically, for District Implementation Leads (DILs) who are tasked with coordinating support for Advanced Tiers in schools. As a minimum recommendation, the DLT should participate in Session 1, while the three DILs should attend the entire series.
