GaMTSS Advanced Tiers Series: Building Tiers 2 and 3

Description:
The Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS) is a comprehensive framework designed to ensure ALL students receive high-quality instruction and support. Once a robust Tier 1 foundation is established, districts are ready to build the essential infrastructure to support Advanced Tiers (i.e., Tiers 2 and 3). This five-part series is intended for districts in their second or third year of implementation. Districts are encouraged to participate after completing the GaMTSS Foundational Series: Building Success in Year One. The live sessions below explore the data, system, and practices necessary for building and sustaining a districtwide Advanced Tiers system of supports focused on continuous improvement. Participants will use the District Fidelity Tool and the School Fidelity Tool (see Additional Resources below) to guide implementation throughout the series.
Session 1: Understanding Advanced Tiers District Infrastructure
Learn how to build districtwide systems for interventions, professional learning and coaching, evaluation plans, and written guidance for schools. (District Fidelity Tool: Features 6, 8, 13, 14, and 18)

Session 2: Building an Advanced Tiers School Leadership Team

Session 3: Establishing a District Process for Progress Monitoring
