GaMTSS: Building an Advanced Tiers School Leadership Team

District Implementation Leads (DILs) are responsible for coordinating support for the implementation of Advanced Tiers in schools and ensuring the District Leadership Team effectively sets schools up for success. Utilizing the School Fidelity Tool, the three DILs focus on establishing the Advanced Tiers Leadership Team within schools, which includes defining their purpose and responsibilities; aligning the work with district/school improvement goals; identifying team members with a variety of expertise; and establishing operating procedures for monthly meetings. Additionally, DILs explore opportunities to expand the current district infrastructure for Tier 1 to support Advanced Tiers, including professional learning and coaching, data review processes, and annual evaluations.
This is the second session in the 5-part GaMTSS Advanced Tiers Series.
