GaMTSS Fidelity Tool Updates: From Ratings to Action
September 1

Description:
The GaMTSS Fidelity Tools have been updated for the 2026-27 school year to provide a more accurate, consistent, and meaningful measure of implementation at the district and school levels. Key updates include an expanded 0-3 rating scale that more effectively captures stages of implementation; revisions to the rating process and format that promote consistency, reliability, and collaboration among teams; and enhancements to tool features that improve clarity and precision in measuring implementation.
The series includes two sessions: one focused on the District Fidelity Tool (DFT) and one focused on the School Fidelity Tool (SFT). Each informative session will help participants understand the updated tool and their role in assessing the systems, structures, and practices that support effective GaMTSS implementation. Participants will explore how to apply the revised rating scale using evidence to determine accurate ratings and examine how fidelity data can be used as a continuous improvement tool. Each session will emphasize how to identify strengths, prioritize areas for growth, and develop meaningful action plans that strengthen implementation and improve outcomes for students.
Participants should attend the session(s) that align with their role and the fidelity tools they support.
