GaMTSS: Understanding Advanced Tiers District Infrastructure

District Leadership Teams (DLTs) that have completed the District Readiness process and successfully implemented Tier 1 in a model school are now prepared to develop district infrastructure to support Advanced Tiers in schools. Utilizing the District Fidelity Tool as a roadmap, participants will examine the district’s role in developing a: (1) continuum of interventions and supports for Tiers 2 and 3, (2) comprehensive professional learning and coaching plan, (3) districtwide evaluation plan, and (4) written guidance for schools.
This is the first session in the five-part GaMTSS Advanced Tiers Series: Building Tiers 2 and 3 and is intended for districts in their second or third year of implementation. Districts are encouraged to participate after completing the GaMTSS Foundational Series: Building Success in Year One.
