In schools, we strive to offer Tiered Systems of Support for the whole child. Join us for an informative session on the tiered system for mental and behavioral health supports for students and families beyond the school walls. Presenters from the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and the Center on Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health share community-based resources, ranging from prevention to crisis intervention. Learn how schools can work with local partners to support the mental health needs of students and families. Topics include the continuum of care, system of care, regional supports, and Local Interagency Planning Teams (LIPTs).
