This session briefly defines essential components of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and the benefits of implementing a tiered system of supports for all students. The presenters provide information on indicators for needed interventions, the multi-level prevention system, and the role of MTSS in families and communities. The presentation also explains the differences between MTSS and other intervention systems within Georgia, as well as information on progress monitoring for students. Finally, the presenters provide information on resources for further MTSS understanding.
