Gifted Ed and Advanced Academics Workshops for RESAs and Districts
By Request

Description:
These workshops are offered as all-day, in-person workshops or half-day, virtual workshops. Selections are as follows.
Elevating Student Potential: The Power of Talent Development: Join us for an engaging workshop that will equip educators with the knowledge/skills to develop their own talent development programs. We’ll explore the significance of talent development, its impact on educator effectiveness and student achievement, and the steps involved in creating a program that aligns with the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES). By the conclusion of the workshop, educators should have added to their toolkit the knowledge and skills to implement talent development programs that will foster students reaching their potentials.
Integrating Creativity into the Content Areas: Participants will learn instructional strategies with examples of how to integrate creativity into the main content areas. These strategies will support standards/inquiry-based teaching and learning and differentiated instruction for advanced learners and teachers. Participants will integrate creativity strategies into their own units/lessons with the assistance of onsite facilitator(s).
Nuts and Bolts of Gifted Education and Advanced Academics: Join us for a thorough presentation designed to equip educators with a comprehensive understanding of the complex aspects of the Gifted & Advanced Academics unit. By the end of this presentation, educators will be well-prepared to enhance their gifted programs, ensuring that they effectively identify, support, and develop the talents of their gifted and advanced learners.
Additional one-hour virtual presentations are described in more detail in the request form.
*PLEASE NOTE: For these in-person workshops, the minimum number of participants is 15, and laptops/devices with a workstation are REQUIRED.
