High Leverage Practices (HLPs) 101: Part I

Intended Audience: Blended Teachers, Elementary Teachers, High School Teachers, Instructional Coaches/Coordinators, Middle School Teachers
Presenters will explore high leverage practices, the instructional aspects of practices and how they support Specially Designed Instruction. Participants will develop an understanding of the importance of using explicit instruction (HLP 16), using strategies to promote active student engagement (HLP 18), and guiding students’ learning and behavior through positive, constructive feedback (HLP 22).
