Improving Attendance by Coordinating Specialized Staff

Student attendance is influenced by a complex mix of academic, health, mental health, family, and school-based factors. No single professional can address these barriers alone. This session brings together school counselors, school social workers, school psychologists, and school nurses to explore how interdisciplinary teams can work together to identify attendance barriers, use data to inform action, and coordinate meaningful supports for students and families.
Participants will see how each discipline contributes a unique perspective and how working together can lead to a more coordinated response to attendance concerns.
Duration: 1 hour
