Incorporating Computational Thinking in the Middle School Music Classroom

The Fine Arts and Computer Science Teams at GaDOE have collaborated to provide middle school music teachers with high-quality instructional resources for successfully incorporating computational thinking strategies into any middle school music classroom setting in the form of supplemental instructional resource units for any middle school music course. Teaching these units in middle school music classrooms fulfills the requirements outlined in Senate Bill 108. This workshop will serve as an introductory learning opportunity to learn computational thinking strategies and how they can be applied in MS Music classrooms.

Duration: 6 hours
