Integrating Behavioral Threat Assessment and GaMTSS: A Collaborative Approach to Enhancing School Safety
As part of the GaDOE Office of Whole Child Supports’ Student Services Leadership Series, this webinar explores how Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) can be effectively integrated within the Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS). Participants will examine strategies for aligning teams and leveraging Tier 1–3 supports to address behavioral concerns and build safer, more supportive school environments.

Participants will:
-Describe the key components of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) and its connection to the Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS).
-Analyze strategies for aligning teaming structures and processes to effectively integrate BTAM within a unified, system-level approach.
-Apply Tier 1–3 supports to address behavioral concerns and strengthen safe, supportive school environments through coordinated implementation.
