Integrating Flexible Environments in Middle School and High School

March 25 @ 9:00 am - 10:15 am

Description:

Join us for a highly engaging session for middle and high school teachers and coaches focused on facilitating and planning student-centered practices or personalized learning. All content is aligned with Georgia’s vision and standards for personalized learning.

The session’s goal is to better understand the why, what, and how of flexible learning environments. We will explore learning space practices that promote student engagement, foster a sense of belonging, and encourage students to take ownership of their learning. We will also view simulations of best practices in action, including choice lessons.

Facilitators will lead hands-on activities to help you create a student-centered classroom that adapts to individual needs and personal pacing. Participants will walk away with simple tools to use flexible spaces and varied instructional formats that give students more ownership of their learning.
