Introducing Georgia’s ELA and ELD Standards Associations

Description:
Explore Georgia’s new English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) Standards Associations and the role they play in supporting high-quality instruction for English Learners. In this session, leaders will learn about the development and purpose of the Standards Associations, examine the instructional connections between Georgia’s K–12 ELA Standards and the WIDA ELD Standards, explore how to access and use the resources in SuitCASE, and identify leadership actions to support successful implementation in schools and districts.
