The Georgia Department of Education, in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Education and Workforce Strategy, will host a one-hour webinar, Laying the Foundation with Curriculum Leaders: Georgia’s Literacy Coaching Model, to describe and explain the literacy coaching model made possible through HB 1193. This session, aimed at Curriculum Directors, will provide an overview of the purpose, structure, and intended impact of the model, with a focus on how school-based literacy coaching can support strong implementation of literacy instruction, intervention, and local literacy planning.
