Literacy and Dyslexia Technical Assistance Chat: Special Summer Edition

In preparation for the implementation of the Georgia Early Literacy Act and the Dyslexia law going into effect in August 2024, the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) is hosting a Special Summer Edition Literacy and Dyslexia Technical Assistance Chat. This session will provide an opportunity for teachers and administrators to learn from GaDOE representatives from Dyslexia, Literacy, ELA, MTSS, English Learners, and Special Education. During the drop-in session, attendees can ask questions pertaining to the alignment of state literacy policies and practices, including core instruction, screening, intensive intervention, progress monitoring, and data-based decision making. The session will not be recorded; registration is required.
