Intended Audience: Afterschool Providers, Community Stakeholders, Counseling Staff, District Leaders, Early Learning Teachers (Birth-5 yrs), Elementary Teachers, High School Teachers, Mental Health and Wellbeing Specialists, Middle School Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Pupil Transportation Staff, RESA Mentors, School Leaders, School Nurses, Social Workers, Special Education Teachers, Special Student Services Staff, State Schools, Teacher Leaders
Through the Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) project, GaDOE partners with a network of training providers to offer a catalog of curated mental health training available for scheduling in RESAs, districts, schools, and communities throughout the state. Topics include suicide prevention, general mental health awareness, trauma, educator wellness, and more. Courses range in duration and expertise level, allowing for easy scheduling based on LEA needs.
