Multisensory Approaches to Teaching Vocabulary (Literacy/Reading)

Intended Audience: District Leaders, Early Learning Teachers (Birth-5 yrs), Elementary Teachers, High School Teachers, Instructional Coaches/Coordinators, Middle School Teachers, Special Education Teachers
Participants will explore reading differences, reading strategies, writing & communication strategies, and incorporate multisensory techniques when teaching vocabulary. Participants will learn practical strategies on how to connect students’ senses to stimulate new learning while exploring the implementation of inclusion strategies for literacy.
