Are you interested in creating a nurturing environment which positively impacts academic outcomes? Do you want to learn how to develop a Tier 1 system that promotes positive behavior and fosters student wellbeing?
A supportive and nurturing environment includes (1) creating and teaching expectations, (2) providing positive instructional feedback, (3) defining behavior expectations, and (4) developing a systematic plan on how to respond to behavior through a schoolwide proactive and instructional lens. In this session, the Tier 1 Leadership Team explores the key features of an effective Tier 1 behavioral system to create an environment where every student feels supported and valued.
