The Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) project began in 2018 to increase access to high-quality, evidence-informed mental health training for educators and school staff. Since then, GaDOE, in partnership with a network of training providers, has trained thousands of educators and has recently begun offering courses for community members, parents/caregivers, and students. Join us for a comprehensive overview of the project and how to schedule training, as well as a look at recent data and updates to the project.
