Ready, Set, Inspire: Pre-Planning for Powerful Instruction

Prepare for a strong start to the school year with this four-part webinar series designed to help teachers confidently plan and deliver engaging, interactive instruction using GaDOE Inspire. By the end of the series, educators will be equipped with practical tools and strategies to create meaningful, interactive learning experiences aligned to the most current Georgia learning standards from day one.
Session 1: Navigating GaDOE Inspire Resources
In this immersive session, teachers will learn how to navigate and use resources within the Course Content Collections and Resource Repositories in Inspire. Participants will explore ways to adapt GaDOE-developed content to meet student needs and learn how to create and upload their own instructional materials.
Session 2: Collaborating and Planning With Inspire
This session focuses on collaborative planning within Inspire. Teachers will learn how to plan virtually with grade-level, course, school, and district teams using Georgia learning standards and GaDOE-created content. Participants will also learn how to create shared content collections to support collaborative instructional planning.
Session 3: What Are Velocity Activities, and Where Can I Find Them?
Explore how GaDOE Velocity Activities leverage cognitive science to create engaging, interactive learning experiences aligned to Georgia standards. This session highlights what makes Velocity Activities effective for student learning and where to locate ready-to-use Velocity resources within GaDOE Inspire.
Session 4: Building Velocity Activities
In this hands-on session, teachers will learn how to design and implement engaging Velocity Activities that bring learning to life. Participants will explore how to use Velobot, the assistive technology within Velocity, to support the creation of interactive, standards-aligned experiences, and learn how to assign and manage activities to enhance student engagement and learning.
