School Climate Star Ratings and LKES: What's New for Leaders

Georgia’s updated School Climate Star Ratings are now available, and leaders need to know where to find their results, how to interpret what they see, and what actions to take within the Georgia Leader Keys Effectiveness System (LKES).
This session will provide a practical walkthrough of accessing School Climate Star Ratings and survey data in MyGaDOE Portal, understanding what the reports look like, and navigating expectations for using ratings in the LKES platform this year and in future evaluation cycles.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Locate School Climate Star Ratings and survey data within MyGaDOE Portal.
– Recognize and interpret the key components of the School Climate Star Rating reports.
– Understand expectations for using School Climate Star Ratings within the LKES platform for the current year and next year.
– Identify practical next steps for responding to their school’s results.
