Science of Reading Literacy Series for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TVIs): A Comprehensive 6-Part Professional Development Framework Aligned to Georgia K-3 Literacy Standards & Expanded Core Curriculum
Series Overview: This 6-part professional learning series equips TVIs and educational team members with evidence-based strategies grounded in the Science of Reading, specifically adapted for students who are blind, have low vision, or are deafblind. The series addresses the needs of all learners—including emerging readers and students with complex needs—while intentionally integrating the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) throughout.
