Description:
Setting the Hook and Reeling Them in: Creative Use of Images to Get Students Writing
K-12 Social Studies offers so many opportunities for our students to express themselves and their opinions or conclusions through writing, but so often they struggle with the basics or how to even get started. In this session, we’ll start with an intriguing image as a hook, and then use it to guide struggling writers through a series of engaging activities that will make writing seem easy.
