Intended Audience: District Leaders, Elementary Teachers, High School Teachers, Middle School Teachers, School Leaders, Teacher Leaders
Our full-day, in-person workshop is an interactive, participant-focused introduction to skills-based health education. Participants will learn the characteristics of effective health education and strategies for helping students develop the skills and functional knowledge necessary for making healthy choices and informed decisions. Activities include exploring the health standards, building a sample unit planning tool using backward design, and developing a mini-unit.
